What would a whole AI film cost?
Enter the length of the finished film and how many clips you expect to throw away. We price the footage you actually have to generate, for every model we track.
25% waste means you generate about 1.33× the footage you keep.
Only changes how many clips you need. Cost is per second either way.
Generated seconds = film length ÷ (1 − waste %). Cost = generated seconds × list price per second. Editing, music, upscaling, taxes and subscription minimums are not included.
Cost of the whole film, by model

Official prices are read on each vendor's own pricing page; data last checked 2026-10-18. Each row is priced at the config shown under the model name (mostly 720p). Prices marked ≈ have no published per-second rate, so we divide the 10-second price by 10.
Third-party prices come from each platform's own model or pricing page (checked 2026-10-18). Configs can differ from the official row (audio, resolution, tier). Left out: Replicate Wan 3.0, fal.ai Kling 3.0 (the platform's own pages show conflicting prices; pending re-check).
